Inspired by a love of Australian native flora and the disciplined skill of slow needlework, this colourful piece is created with dried banksia stamen, which are hand stitched with natural fibres onto cotton rag paper, with watercolour details.

By using very specific cleaning and archival processes with these naturally ephemeral fibres their longevity is ensured.
