Two sibling geldings settling their differences. This action photograph caught my attention because this is a position you rarely see horses in. It's a "right time, right place" sort of shot.
Ann-Louise is a self taught Brisbane artist, originally from a beef producing property near Cecil Plains, 120km west of Toowoomba, Qld. Coming from the land, I enjoy sketching images that resonate with my upbringing and find most of my inspiration from nature and iconic outback scenes. My drawings begin as high quality photographs taken on a digital camera, uploaded to my computer and converted into monochrome images. Using 100% cotton rag paper and graphite pencils.
