'Silver Princess I' - Ecstatic as they approached the house. It was all more than expected, the view, the princess house, the opportunity for a break. She dismissed a flash of red to her right, surely it was too co ld, she was.
After unpacking, they walked around their home away from home, orienting themselves with this new landscape so different from their everyday.
I knew it she called out. A flowering gum.
The small tree held more powdery, silver nuts and showy red flowers than seemed possible. Their hosts had left secateurs for them, immediately they were put to use and the first of their collection of found objects graced the main table.
About Robyn: The story telling artist.
I am a maker; I get restless if I don't make something and I believe, someone, somewhere is making everything, so why can't l
I didn't do art at school; didn't believe I had that talent. I learned this story was not true in the early 1990's and have been creating art ever since.
In 2019I started a 100-day project which took my art practice to a new level of discipline and meant I had to show up every day with purpose. I enjoy humble subjects, simple items and things from our homes, and the world. In 2020 I started telling the story. In 2023 there came a book. My passion is storytelling through words and images.
