‘On The Mooove’ | Ann-Louise Clay
Unframed print. Available in either A3 or A4 size
This piece is of two Northern Territory brahmans peering out of a road train. There is something about this pair that draws a lot of attention from people from different walks of life. Typically highly strung in nature, anyone with an affiliation with the land will appreciate how this drawing highlights the softer side of an animal that has adapted to the harsh northern Australian environment.
Ann-Louise is a self taught Brisbane artist, originally from a beef producing property near Cecil Plains, 120km west of Toowoomba, Qld. Coming from the land, I enjoy sketching images that resonate with my upbringing and find most of my inspiration from nature and iconic outback scenes. My drawings begin as high quality photographs taken on a digital camera, uploaded to my computer and converted into monochrome images. Using 100% cotton rag paper and graphite pencils.
