Ann-Louise drew this piece from a photo of well used and loved working boots in an old wooden box. These character rich R.M Williams, Baxter and T-Boots are iconic and considered essential for a long day’s work in the saddle or stockyards. 

Ann-Louise is a self taught Brisbane artist, originally from a beef producing property near Cecil Plains, 120km west of Toowoomba, Qld. Coming from the land, I enjoy sketching images that resonate with my upbringing and find most of my inspiration from nature and iconic outback scenes. My drawings begin as high quality photographs taken on a digital camera, uploaded to my computer and converted into monochrome images. Using 100% cotton rag paper and graphite pencils.
